Our words are the expression of our character.
James 4:11 ‘ Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law, and judges the law: but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.’
Our words are the expression of our character.
When Christ is our life
then our words should reflect the character of Christ.
If we speak evil of one another
then our words reflect the character of the world;
hypocritical, judgmental and self centred.
If we recognise the life of Christ in one another
then we will give thanks for each other.
The law condemns
but in Christ we are lifted from condemnation to life.
We should minister life with our words.
