Presenting the gospel with meekness and fear.
1 Peter 3:15 ‘...be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:’
Meekness does not present the gospel in a condescending manner;
it seeks to lift others with the love of Christ.
The manner in which we present Christ
is just as important as the words we speak.
Fear is not the dread of punishment;
it means being careful in the things we say and do;
treating people with respect;
and being aware at all times that we serve the living God.
When people see the love of Christ in us
then we will be given opportunities
to share the message of the gospel with them.
